"Get me to the Church on time" is the way the song goes but it may not be fully appreciated how important a role your bridal car and chauffeur play on your special day. Before you approach a car hire company, decide whether one car can take your bridesmaids and mother to the church and onto the reception, or if a separate car is needed (if it takes a quarter of an hour from home to the church the bridesmaids will have to arrive half an hour before the bride if you use the same car). Local advertising may give you the telephone numbers of many so-called "wedding car specialists" but it is not advisable to send off a deposit (sometimes half the total charge) on the strength of a telephone conversation. Look for an established full-time professional company which is still likely to be in business when your wedding day comes around. Choose a firm who knows the area well - knowledge of churches, reception venues and traffic conditions can be vital on the day. Go and see them and discuss your requirements. Viewing of the car(s) is strongly recommended. A wide variety of unusual and rare cars are available today and it is no longer obligatory to have a white car. As well as the traditional vintage, classic and modern Rolls-Royces, lovingly restored vintage British and American saloons and convertibles are available. You will also be able to choose American Lincoln or Cadillac stretch limousines, or perhaps a seven seater Mercedes. Don't take it for granted that a name like Rolls Royce guarantees a car in excellent condition! Maintaining and operating vehicles needs professional expertise so use a company that can offer several vehicles or has some back-up if any problems occur. Wedding Car Suppliers
